We have prepared a survey on public transportation in the Town of Pincourt in collaboration with the MRC of Vaudreuil-Soulanges. The survey aims to assess the needs of the population of the Town in order to make public transporation more accessible and efficient.

FREE ADMISSION TO THE MOVIEs on august 21, 2010!

As part of its Summer activities program, the Recreation and Community Services of Pincourt offers you free admission to the French version of the movie « Journal d'un dégonflé ».

This film will be presented on July 21, 2010, à 7:30 pm, at the Omni-Centre of Pincourt, 375, Cardinal-Léger Boulevard, Pincourt. Don't forget to bring your popcorn and your favourite treats.

A MEMORIAL FLORAL GARDEN IN OLYMPIC PARK !

The Société d'Horticulture Environnementale of the Towns of Île-Perrot, in all its generosity, offers time and labour for the design and construction of a memorial garden in front of the Omni-Centre.  Their members and volunteer citizens from the Ville en santé Committee will conduct the first phase of the planting of shrubs and plants.

Thank you to the 50th Anniversary Committee, and more particularly to Sylvie Trépanier, Danielle Crête and Joanne Déry for the development and planning of this garden.  We also want to thank Jean-Marc Guy and his team for their participation.

IN THE ART OF SUMMER!

Pincourt's artists are extending an open invitation to their 3rd annual art show. The event, features works by 20 local artists, and is still running from July 12-16, 2010.

The show is being held at the Pincourt Library, located at École Secondaire du Chêne-Bleu, 225, boulevard Pincourt in Pincourt. For information, call the library at 514 425-1104, ext. 6242.

Need for volunteers!

As you know, there is a return of  the classic bicycle outing. This year, the 11km cycling family outing will be held September 12, 2010, at 10:00 am at Olympic Park.

As you might imagine, an event of this magnitude requires the involvement of the community and we are currently looking for volunteers between 8:00 pm and noon.  A Souvenir T-shirt and a lunch will be offered to all volunteers.
