Closure of ramp 35 to exit or enter Highway 20 Westbound
Ministry of Transport wishes to inform you that there will be complete closure of ramp 35 to exit or enter Highway 20 Westbound from March 23 to April 10, 2009 between 8:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. This is necessary due to excavation work to be performed to install a new water main under the pavement.
During these operations, drivers who want to access Cardinal-Léger Boulevard South from Highway 20 West are invited to use the exit at de l’Île Boulevard and take du Traversier Boulevard or 5th Avenue.
To access Highway 20 in both directions from Pincourt, you will have to use du Traversier Boulevard from Cardinal-Léger Boulevard North and then take de l’Île Boulevard unto Highway 20.
Please note that these operations are subject to weather conditions.
Galipeaultbridge
The Minsitry of Transport wishes to inform you of some modifications to road circulation on GalipeaultBridge. Congestion problems have been noticed westbound during the weekends, therefore the Ministry will maintain two traffic lanes westbound and one eastbound as a try out for the next two weekends.A follow-up on site will be performed by the Ministry over these two weekends and adjustment will be done if need be.
If the result of this try out is positive, these modifications could be maintained until the end of the reconstruction.
Road circulation:
Instead of the actual setup, two traffic lanes will be available westbound on GalipeaultBridge during the following period:
§from Friday, March 20, 2009, 1 p.m. to Sunday, March 22, 2009 at 11 p.m.;
§from Friday March 27, 2009, 1 p.m. to Sunday, March 29, 2009 at 11 p.m.
