What a success! We would like to thank all the volunteers, employees, volunteer firefighters and especially their wives, who, throughout the year, are dedicated to providing everyone with an array of diverse activities.

The Pincourt Bike Tour is Back

OLYMPIC PARK

The 50th Anniversary Celebrations continues in Pincourt. After the great success of Firemen's Day and Boating Day, the population is now invited to participate in an 11km family bike tour through Pincourt streets on Sunday September 12th.

The start will be at 10:00 am from Olympique Park. After their registration, all cyclists can benefit from minor adjustments and repairs from the Intersports technical team as well as take part in warm-up exercises with our trained specialists. Upon their return, games and animation will be offered on site including story time activities with Clafoutine and her friends and a magic show presented by Martin Rozon at 12:30 pm. Bring your lunch and picnic with you or enjoy a sandwich from Subway (extra cost). Prizes will also be drawn at 12:15 pm for those in attendance.

Registration for the bike tour is free and can be done on site between 8:00 am to 9:45 am. Note that children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a participating adult and children 13 to 17 must obtain parental authorization at the time of registration.

To allow the Pincourt Bike Tour, which will be held next Sunday, Pincourt citizens are advised that there will be some temporary street closures that may affect traffic. We request the cooperation of all drivers, to follow the instructions mentioned below, in order to ensure the safety of all participants.  Please consult the notice of traffic restriction and the bike tour circuit.

join us on september 4, 2010, starting at 8:00 am for the planting of the MEMORIAL FLORAL GARDEN IN front of the omni-centre!

The Société d'Horticulture Environnementale of the Towns of Île-Perrot, in all its generosity, offers time and labour for the design and construction of a memorial garden in front of the Omni-Centre. Ther members of the SHEIP and volunteer citizens from the Ville en santé Committee invite you to participate in the second phase which is the planting of shrubs and plants. Let's invest in our history!  Hope to see you there!

GARAGE SALES ON THE ISLAND

As in other towns such as, Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot and Île-Perrot, only certain periods of garage sales are permitted per year and only the dates listed below. The garage sale must be on your property. No permit is required.  Garage sales are prohibited outside theses dates.

Need for volunteers!

As you know, there is a return of  the classic bicycle outing. This year, the 11km cycling family outing will be held September 12, 2010, at 10:00 am at Olympic Park.

As you might imagine, an event of this magnitude requires the involvement of the community and we are currently looking for volunteers between 8:00 am and noon.  A Souvenir T-shirt and a lunch will be offered to all volunteers.
