At a press conference held Wednesday, November 28, 2018, the Town of Pincourt announced the opening of a third call for social development projects and also presented the projects selected under the 2018 call for projects.
For a third consecutive year, the Town of Pincourt is proud to make available to its residents a $10,000 fund dedicated to the social development of the community.
The call for projects is open to:
- Non-profit organizations (NPOs)
The project must target the citizens of Pincourt, since the aim is to contribute to the city's social development.
Célia Corriveau, Head of Social and Cultural Development, is proud to say that “the Town of Pincourt already has ten completed projects which were designed as part of its call of social development project initiative. Thanks to this process, it’s been possible to develop activities that are completely different from what the Town could have afforded based on time and resources. Drawing on collective intelligence also allows us to implement outside-the-box ideas.”
The deadline for submitting a project to the Town is January 31, 2019.
After that date, the duly completed forms will be analyzed to select the winners.
Projects selected for 2018
In 2018, the Town of Pincourt selected four projects under its second call for social development projects. The projects selected stood out because of their considerable impact on a large proportion of Pincourt’s population as well as their potential for social transformation.
