Collection of taxes and payment methods

The Town mailed the tax bills for 2012 on January 23, 2012. Tax bills are payable in three (3) installments: February 22, June 29 and September 14. No reminder will be mailed for June and September.

Receipt will be issued upon request only.Please keep tax bill for your income tax.

New owners:

If you are a new owner, your tax bill might have been mailed to the previous owner. This does not mean that you do not have to pay the taxes for your property according to the schedule. The tax bill is attached to the property not the owner. The Town of Pincourt does not issue new tax bill when the owner changes.

Interest

Interest on tax arrears is calculated for the first, second and third installment, from their respective due dates.

Please note that starting January 1, 2011, the interest rate payable on taxes, starting after the expiration period during which taxes must be paid and for unpaid debts dated before January 1, 2011, was set at thirteen percent (13%) per year. This rate was unanimously adopted at the December 14, 2010 Council meeting (Résolution No 2010-12-354).
