Inauguration of New Recreational Infrastructures

On Thursday, June 10, 2021, in the presence of the Mayor and Municipal Councillors, the Town of Pincourt officially inaugurated its new play structures at Paul-Ouellette and Taillon Parks, as well as its nautical center, at Bellevue Park.

It was time to modernize the outdated play modules. From now on, Taillon Park will be inclusive since it meets the criteria of universal accessibility. People with disabilities will be able to access the structure in wheelchairs thanks to an access ramp. The park also includes other inclusive features such as a parent-child seat, a rotating seat and sensory panels.

Residents will now be able to use a pathway, accessible via 2e Boulevard, to access Taillon Park. Access to the park will be safer for local residents as it will no longer require passing by Duhamel Road.

Keen observers will notice the presence of a fox, in a game of "Spot the Differences", which is a nod to the Pointe-aux-Renards sector in which the park is located.
