Pincourt takes on Web 2.0

With the explosion of social networks in our society, the Town of Pincourt decided to follow the trend and take on the Web 2.0. It is with pride that Pincourt announces the launch of its official Facebook page, available at www.facebook.com/VilledePincourt. A first step in the Web 2.0 world...

In the future, citizens will learn about various activities of the Town through their Facebook account, a new technology that will become an integral part of communication tools favored by the Town. This interactive platform aims not only to inform but also to promote exchanges with citizens.

Just like the motto of the Town of Pincourt, "Answering the needs of all!" the content of this page will be bilingual and diverse. From promoting cultural, community and sports activities to local traffic, job postings and public works, citizens will receive exclusive information, reliable and comprehensive.

During summertime, different actions will be taken to promote the arrival of Pincourt on Facebook.

The Town of Pincourt Recreation and Community Services have prepared a whole week full of activities during "la Semaine de la famille" from May 14 to May 20, 2012. All activities are free but it is important to reserve your place at 514 453-2040 extension 29.

"Music and movement" workshop: Initiation to music and rhythm for children 2 to 5 years old with their parents.

Outdoor fitness (parent/teenager): Course format, which will allow parents and their teenage children (14 years old and over) to move.

Craft workshop: Parents and children aged 2 to 5 years old are invited to come and create their very own family portrait.

Presented by the Ecomuseum: Activity for the whole family. Presentation on biodiversity. Come and meet American Marthe, a bird of prey and a few other live animals.

Free Badminton (parent/child): Come and play with your kids and rental is free! Bring your own equipment. There are a few badminton rackets available.
