Important Notice: Île-aux-Tourtes bridge, a single lane

The ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable wishes to inform road users that only one lane per direction will be available on the Île-aux-Tourtes bridge, starting now, for several weeks.

To mitigate the impact of this additional hindrance, toll passage on Autoroute 30 and traveling from certain stations on the Vaudreuil-Hudson train line will be free of charge during this period.

Traffic management
The public is invited to use public transport. Travel planning information is available on the  Chrono application.

Motorists are invited to take Highway 20; truckers, Autoroute 30.

Starting Monday, December 4, train service will be free on the exo11 Vaudreuil-Hudson line, for users of the following stations:
- Hudson
- Vaudreuil
- Dorion
- Pincourt
- Île-Perrot

This is in addition to the mitigation measures already in place:
- Improved train service on the exo11 Vaudreuil-Hudson line with the addition of the following extra departures:
    - Train #12: Departure from Hudson Station at 6:14 a.m;
    - Train #16: Departs from Vaudreuil at 7:30 a.m;
   - Train #21: Departs Lucien L'Allier station at 4:40 p.m., terminating at Hudson station .

- A hundred bus departures on routes 7, 10, 35 and 40 managed by exo with government funding. Funding will be renewed in 2024 at a cost of $2.3 million.

- The reopening of a third lane and a return to dynamic traffic management on weekdays will be possible once repair work on the damaged slab has been completed. This will make it possible to keep two of the three lanes open in the direction of traffic flow during peak periods.<
