The Policy
Social development is a set of means taken by society to enable people to reach their full potential and to participate in social life.
Social development is lived through the creation of projects and the implementation of actions that address all of a community's social issues.
The Town of Pincourt, who has a Social Development Policy in place since 2013, seeks to promote the quality of life and development of its citizens by creating an active and supportive community.
What makes the policy so unique is its decidedly citizen-centred focus. It is your ideas that give rise to the collective and social initiatives put in place.
