This section summarizes the main by-laws about which our inspector-technician receives the most questions.
All by-laws are subject to amendments. You can always view the complete texts at Town Hall during business hours.

Urban Planning Main By-Laws The municipal regulations are available in French only for the time being.
Name of the by-laws Description ZONING AND SPAIP
This regulation governs the Town's zoning and site planning and architectural integration programs. It defines the various permitted uses for each zone. By-law 780 also sets out the zoning, architectural, construction quality and environmental protection standards to be met when obtaining a permit for various works.
SUBDIVISIONS
This regulation defines the standards and conditions to be met when subdividing and identifying lots. CONSTRUCTION
This by-law groups together the provisions relating to construction works. PERMITS AND CERTIFICATES
These by-laws group together the provisions relating to permits and certificates, including rates.
MINOR EXEMPTIONS
This regulation explains the procedure to authorize a derogation based on certain provisions of the zoning or subdivision by-law. DEVELOPMENT PLANS
CONTRIBUTIONS TO WORKS/SERVICES
This bylaw concerns agreements with developers (870).
This by-law concerns the payment of a financial contribution to finance all or part of an expense related to the addition, expansion or modification of municipal infrastructure or equipment (917).
