Under its Sustainable Development Policy, the Town of Pincourt offers programs to encourage the adoption of ecologically responsible practices
Grants are a cashback of a portion of the purchase cost of the sustainable products covered by the program.

Purchase of a tree at the birth or adoption of a child FORM Available grant:
- A maximum of $100 per tree (this project only subsidizes the purchase of one tree per child or adoption)
Eligibility conditions:
- Be a Pincourt resident
- Provide evidence from a competent authority demonstrating parental authority and showing that the child is less than 12 months old or that the adoption was finalized less than 12 months from the grant application date.
Required supporting documents:
- Proof of residence
- Proof that the baby is less than 12 months old in the case of a birth or proof that the adoption was formalized within the last 12 months
- Original invoice indicating the species of the tree
- Photo showing the tree planted on the property

Purchase of a new or used bike FORM The Town of Pincourt wishes to encourage the practice of active transportation year-round. In addition to the health benefits, this will help reduce greenhouse gas emissions by reducing the number of cars on the road.
Eligibility criteria
- To have purchased a new or used bicycle within the last 12 months for yourself or a family member living at the applicant's address purchased on the Vaudreuil-Soulanges territory.
Amount of subsidy
Purchase of one (1) used bicycle :
- 50% of the amount up to a maximum of $75 will be granted when purchased from another person or a social economy enterprise.
Purchase of one (1) new bicycle :
- 50% of the amount for a maximum of $100 before taxes.

Rain barrel FORM Available grant:
- A maximum of $50 towards the purchase of a barrel
Eligibility conditions:
- Be a Pincourt resident
- Provide proof that the rainwater harvesting barrel was purchased, as a priority, from a business located in Pincourt.
Required supporting documents:
- Proof of residence
- Product identification, including specifications
- Original invoice for the purchase of the new rainwater recovery barrel

Low-flow toilet FORM Available grant:
- A maximum of $75 per toilet (a maximum of two toilets per address are eligible for the program).
Eligibility conditions:
- Be a Pincourt resident
- Have obtained the permit(s) in advance, if required.
- Prove that the new toilet's specifications include one of the following characteristics:
- Maximum flow rate of six litres per flush
- Toilet equipped with a double flushing system
- Be WaterSense certified
- Be HET certified
Required supporting documents:
- Proof of residence
- Product identification, including specifications
- Original invoice for the purchase of the new toilet
- Photos of the old toilet prior to removal and new low-flush toilet

Cloth diapers FORM Available grants:
- $100 to buy or rent 15 or more diapers, per child
- 50% of the cost of diaper purchase or rental, per child
Eligibility conditions:
- Be a Pincourt resident at the time of purchase
- Have parental authority over an unborn child or a child under 12 months of age. In the case
- of an adoption, the adoption must have been finalized within the last 12 months
- Buy or rent a minimum of 15 cloth diapers.
Required supporting documents:
- Application form signed by the child’s parent(s)
- Proof of residence (driver's license, public utility bill, etc.)
- Copy of child’s[LD1] birth certificate
- Confirmation of birth registration in the Québec Civil Status Register
- Copy of the child's health insurance card or hospital card
- Original invoice for a set of new cloth diapers or copies of all original invoices for a full cloth diaper rental service.

Shredder blades FORM Available grant:
- The purchase cost of the blade or a maximum amount of $25
Eligibility conditions:
- Be a Pincourt resident.
- Provide proof that the shredder blade is a commercially available product specifically
- designed by the manufacturer for grass and leaf shredding.
- Provide proof that the shredder blade was purchased, as a priority, from a business located in Pincourt
Required supporting documents:
- Proof of residence
- Original invoice for the purchase of the shredder blade
- Proof that the shredder blade is a commercially available product specifically designed by the manufacturer for lawn and leaf shredding.

Battery/electric/manual gardening tools FORM Available grant:
- The City will reimburse up to $100 of the purchase price of an electric or battery-powered lawnmower, and up to $75 of the purchase price of a manual, battery-powered or electric lawn trimmer or hedge trimmer.
- Only one product per residence is accepted.
Eligibility conditions:
- Reside in the Municipality of Pincourt
- Complete the application form, attach supporting documents and send the application to the Municipality. The application for reimbursement must be sent within six (6) months of the purchase of the gardening tools.
- Purchase the product in a local store (in the MRC of Vaudreuil-Soulanges).
- Respect the following list of eligible products:
- Trimmers;
- Hedge trimmers;
- lawnmowers.

- Copy of valid driver's license or health insurance card; or
- Copy of current year's municipal or school tax bill or lease. -
Original invoice
- Purchase of battery/electric/manual gardening tools made after January 1, 2023.
- Multiple invoices may be submitted in one application.

Sustainable Personal Care Products (SPCP) FORM Available grant :
- A maximum refund of $100 per person may be accepted. If the sustainable personal care products are purchased on multiple dates, all invoices must be submitted at the same time.
- 50 % of the cost of each SPCP product purchase
Eligibility conditions:
- Be a Pincourt resident

Complete the application form, attach supporting evidence and forward the application to the Municipality. The claim must be submitted within twelve (12) months of the purchase of the durable personal care products.

Purchase the product in a store. Receipts from individuals for the sale of durable personal care products are not accepted.

Respect the following list of eligible products:
- menstrual cup
- washable menstrual panties
- washable sanitary pads, washable pantiliners;
- washable incontinence protection underwear;
- reusable incontinence products.
Required supporting documents (only the documents mentioned are accepted) :
- Proof of residence of the applicant
· Copy of valid driver's license or health insurance card; or
· Copy of current year's municipal or school tax bill or lease.
Original invoice· Purchase of durable personal care products made after January 1, 2023.
· Multiple invoices may be submitted in one application.

Radon attenuation system FORM If the radon concentration in a residential building exceeds the Canadian action level (200 Bq/m3), it is recommended that the necessary work be carried out to reduce the concentration of the gas.
To help residents install a radon mitigation system at their home, the Town will reimburse 50% of the cost of installing such a system, up to a maximum of $500 per residence.
Eligibility criteria
- Installation of the radon mitigation system by a PNCRC-certified company located in Quebec.
- Result of radon test performed prior to installation showing that radon concentration is above the Canadian Action
- Level (200 Bq/m3, including margin of error).
- The radon test must have been performed following a long-term installation, i.e. for a minimum of three months between November and April. It may remain in place for a maximum of 12 months.
- All documents must be submitted BEFORE December 31 of the reference year in which the work was carried out.
Other proof
- Proof of purchase of a radon mitigation system, specifying the product(s) purchased, the name and address of the company, GST and QST numbers, and the date and address of installation;
- Radon test results proving that the detector has been installed in the same location for a minimum of three months between November and April (report from an accredited laboratory or photos showing dates) and for a maximum of 12 months;
- Photo of mitigation system installation;
- Owner's power of attorney or written agreement (if applicable).

Riverbank regreening FORM Available grant:
- A maximum of $500 per property
Eligibility conditions:
- Own a waterfront property in the Town of Pincourt
- The lot must be located in a detached single-family dwelling zone.
Required supporting documents:
- Proof of residence for the landowner and proof that the land covered by the application belongs to the landowner.
- Submission of a technical quote prepared by a professional in the field that details the cost of the project, the ground cover plants, planting techniques and mitigation measures that will be used to comply with best waterfront practices.
- Any other document the Town may require to fully understand the application.
- The chosen plants must be native and adapted to the site. They must be chosen from species recognized for their specific waterfront-friendly features.
- The Town of Pincourt recommends purchasing plants from a business located in the MRC de Vaudreuil-Soulanges.
- The original invoice(s), or purchase receipt(s), the name of the business where the plants were purchased, as well as the GST and QST numbers of the business and proof of payment.
- Once the planting work is done, the regreened waterfront land must feature three levels of vegetation: trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants.
- An expert mandated by the Town will verify the work’s compliance.
