Mario Demers
As an elected representative, my objective is simple: to represent citizens by listening, showing respect, and ensuring transparency. I want to actively participate in decisions that improve our quality of life, foster harmonious development in our town, and contribute to concrete, lasting, and unifying solutions. I wish to thank the citizens for their trust. I am committed to working seriously, openly, and devotedly for the good of Pincourt.
I have lived in Pincourt since 2018. Over the years, I have come to appreciate the richness of our living environment, the vibrancy of our citizens, and the importance of community involvement. Pincourt has become much more than just a place to live: it is a community to which I am deeply attached.
Occupations:
- I am actively involved in the community as a volunteer for the Seniors’ Club, where I am notably responsible for bowling.
- I also sit on the committee of the Residence de la Pointe-aux-Renards, which allows me to contribute directly to collective well-being and community life.
Number of terms:
New Member of Pincourt Municipal Council.
It is with great pride, humility, and a genuine desire to serve that I begin my role as a municipal councillor.
Duties as an elected representative:
As a municipal councillor, I serve on the CITPAT commission, as well as the following committees:
- Demolition
- Environment
- Urban Planning Advisory Committee (CCU)
- Health and Safety
These mandates are especially important to me because they have a direct impact on the quality of life, safety, and future of our town.
Interests: In my personal life, I am passionate about pickleball, motorcycles, camping and, of course, volunteering, which remains a central value in my civic engagement.
