Traffic Committee

Collaborating to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow.

The committee meets monthly to discuss received requests and follow up on ongoing files. Subsequently, it issues recommendations to the elected municipal officials. Its scope of action includes issues of speed and signage, as well as parking, and occasionally, the committee will study nuisances, snow removal, and other aspects related to road traffic. Furthermore, the committee also contributes to the process of creating new streets and bike paths.

In addition, the Traffic Committee may be called upon to intervene with various organizations when it comes to improving traffic conditions in Pincourt.

    The Town of Pincourt's Traffic Committee includes:

    • Municipal councillors
    • Municipal employees
    • An officer from the Sûreté du Québec (Quebec Provincial Police).

    If you believe that traffic calming measures would benefit your neighbourhood, you are invited to submit a request to the following address:

    The committee will carefully examine your request and, if deemed relevant, will conduct a traffic study in the area concerned, using tools such as speed analyzers, radars, and visual counts.
