The municipal patrol is in charge of enforcing the by-laws on pets.

Pound

Animal control is supervised by the security patrol. If you have lost an animal or if you see a stray animal, contact the security patrol by calling 3-1-1.

Lost animals with a license are returned to their owner. Those without a license are taken to the pound, where the owner can retrieve them.

Dead and wild animals

If you find a dead animal on a public road, you must contact Public Safety at 3-1-1.

If you find a wild animal on your property, you must contact animal emergency and rescue services at 514-773-3911.
Any associated fees will be the responsibility of the property owner.
