The purpose of flushing the water system in one direction is to remove deposits from the water pipes and ensure water quality throughout the entire water system.

Duration: +/- 4 weeks

Work between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Expected inconveniences:

• Decreased water pressure
• Discoloration of water

Tips:

• Be sure to check the color of your cold water before using it.
• Avoid doing laundry during flushing hours.
• Let the cold water run until it runs clear. Repeat the process with all the plumbing in your home.
• The inconveniences should disappear on their own after flushing.
• Despite possible discoloration, the water remains safe to drink.
